Hi, my name is Claire Lucas & I have set up this Heart and Soulcraft website as a way of making my work more accessible to you wherever you are in the world! 

My background is that I went to art school, and then later trained as a teacher. More recently I have also trained as a life-coach and Virutes Project facilitator.

My work experience has been mostly in using creative activities to support health and well-being; I've worked on community arts for health projects, run courses, workshops and classes both in colleges, and from home, and since 2019 have branched out to offer online courses and besoke Retreat Holidays too. I am still a practicing artist, and am currently working on a series of 52 paintings which will become the basis for an Oracle Card pack when completed. And I run weekly art classes and Heart and Soulcraft courses from my studio and retreat room at home.

Personally, I have 2 gorgeous grown-up children, and a new granddaughter, and I live with my partner of 24 years (who is an outdoor counsellor) in the far West of Cornwall, UK. I love living close to the sea, and when I'm not working or gardening I can usually be found in or beside the water!!

I am passionate about the work I do....sharing my enthusiasm for the creative process and supporting people to recognise and strive to reach their potential is a joyful experience. Kahlil Gibran wrote "Work is love made visible"....and it is in my case!
